We’re Hiring: Executive Director
Louisiana Landmarks Society is seeking its next Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter. We are looking for an experienced, energetic nonprofit leader with strengths in fundraising, organizational management, community engagement, and a passion for historic preservation and the cultural heritage of New Orleans.
The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Trustees to advance LLS’s preservation and advocacy mission, grow its membership and donor base, strengthen community partnerships, and oversee the stewardship and programming of the historic Pitot House.

Internship Opportunities
Louisiana Landmarks Society and the Pitot House welcome interns interested in gaining hands-on experience in historic preservation, museum and nonprofit management, public history, communications, fundraising, and community engagement.
Internships can be tailored to a student’s interests and academic requirements, with opportunities to assist with research, educational programming, special events, advocacy, collections and interpretation, marketing, membership, and day-to-day operations at the historic Pitot House.
We welcome inquiries from undergraduate and graduate students throughout the year. Academic credit may be available through your college or university.
