2025 Martha Robinson Lecture with Esteemed Author, Robert S. Brantley

We are excited to announce the return of the Martha Robinson lecture series. The series honors the late, esteemed preservationist, who was a founding member of the Louisiana Landmarks Society.

Robert S. Brantley, author of Henry Howard Louisiana’s Architect (2015) and an accomplished photographer and researcher of New Orleans’ architectural fabric, will present “Henry R. Thiberge – in the shadow of Henry Howard.”

Compared with those of his contemporaries – Howard, James Dakin and James Gallier, Sr.– Thiberge’s personal history and architectural accomplishments have remained relatively unknown. Mr. Brantley will elucidate!

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church, 5401 S. Claiborne Ave. corner of Jefferson, 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 8, 2025. Convenient on-street parking. Enter from S. Prieur St., at the rear. DONATIONS to Landmarks, at the door, will be accepted with gratitude.
