Louisiana Landmarks Society enthusiastically supports the adoption of the The Big Green 

Easy: A Citywide Park and Recreation Vision Plan for New Orleans. Your vote to support the plan, based on extensive research and community outreach by Design Workshop, is a great first-step in achieving the long term goals of equitable and resilient parks throughout New Orleans. 

With The Big Green Easy as a blueprint – we can then move on to plan for the multi-year implementation and funding needed to achieve our goals. We urge the City Council to adopt the plan – and to support it as we move forward towards a heathier and greener future.
