Louisiana Landmarks seeks to fill the position of Director of Business Operations and applications for the position are presently being sought.
The Director reports to the president of the organization to implement the policies, programs and events of the organization, and to build support and participation from the membership, donors and the general public. In addition, the Director is responsible for the operation of a historic house used as the organizational headquarters, as a house museum, for event rentals and as a site for preservation education.
The position requires hands-on business management experience, with non-profit experience preferred. The Director of Business Operations must be experienced in raising funds, writing grant applications, marketing, organizing events and programs, and have excellent written and verbal communications skills. The Director must have knowledge of and experience with computer applications for bookkeeping, data entry, record keeping, design, membership management and communications, including Quick Books, Past Perfect, Dropbox, In Design and Constant Contact, and have proficiency in social media.
